Tube Feeding Supplies
- Ordered the feeding bags. They’ll ship in a few days.
- Dr. Stagais had faxed over an order for the mic-key button, which had already been approved and his new order messed up the approval for the mic-key button that was already in place. He filled out the paperwork wrong and it was rejected by Medline on 7/1/24. They sent a request for corrected info, but haven’t received it back yet. I left a message at Dr. Stagais’ office asking if they received the rejection notice and I want to confirm that it’s being corrected, please call me back.
- I asked Medline to fax me the paperwork. Hope my fax machine is working.
- Need to change the type of syringes that he’s getting. Regular syringes were sent, they’re supposed to be Enfit syringes. Medline said to call CCA OneCare for the change. ***CCA said they’d send the change over to Medline and I should be getting a call from Medline confirming the change. I doubt that means that the order has been placed, so I’ll have to confirm that the syringe order has been placed.
UPDATE 7/18/24 They changed the doctor’s name back to Dr. Gelman so the mic-key button doesn’t have to be reauthorized. His insurance doesn’t cover any of the syringes that Medline stocks. I’ll call his insurance company and see where else we can get them from and I’ll just keep ordering them from Carewell until insurance is straightened out.
