Requalifying for MassHealth

While on the phone with MassHealth yesterday, I asked why Nick never got a letter to requalify for MassHealth. It’s been on the news, and both the rep at Tri-Valley and Program Directors have told me that everyone needs to requalify.

The woman at MassHealth said that Nick’s a special case. If I understood her correctly, it has to do with the fact that he gets Social Security because of Bob. As long as he qualifies for SS because of Bob, he’s automatically qualified for MassHealth. The only time this will change is when Nick hits retirement age.
